Question set
This version preserves the wording and order of the widely circulated classic 100-item checklist, cross-checked against ricepuritytest.com on August 25, 2026. We retain dated terms such as MPS and the intentional question mark at item 69 so results remain comparable with that version. The interface and privacy implementation are independent and intended for adults 18+.
Scoring
All questions are weighted equally. The result is 100 minus the number of “yes” answers. No machine-learning model, personality inference, or hidden scoring rule is involved.
Plain-language score ranges
The five score descriptions summarize how many items were checked. They are not a clinical, moral, demographic, personality, or behavioral classification.
No claimed average
We do not upload individual answers or scores, so we do not claim a live community average. A meaningful average would require a defined population, date range, sample size, version, recruitment method, and bias discussion. A number without those details is decoration, not evidence.
Historical claims
We prioritize primary records, such as the Rice University archive catalog, and label uncertainty when we cannot verify a commonly repeated origin detail. This site does not claim institutional affiliation.
