What is the Rice Purity Test, exactly?

The Rice Purity Test is a self-scored checklist of 100 social, romantic, sexual, and rule-breaking experiences. You start at 100 points. Check every experience you have had, lose one point for each yes, and keep whatever backstory produced the number.

The opening questions cover hand-holding, dates, and kissing. Then the list picks up speed. Parties arrive. Sex arrives. The police eventually get a recurring role. The test has no chill and no transition budget.

How does the Rice Purity Test work?

Read each item as “Have you ever done this?” Answer yes or no, then let the subtraction handle the drama. Every item has exactly the same weight. There are no bonus rounds, secret multipliers, or personality types waiting behind the result screen.

What are the Rice Purity Test questions like?

The 100 Rice Purity Test questions move through five loose territories: romance, intimacy, parties and substances, risks and rules, and sexual experiences. The wording ranges from oddly formal to accidentally hilarious.

01Held hands romantically?The tutorial level.
04Danced without leaving room for Jesus?Vintage wording. Zero notes.
59Had the police called on you?The plot has thickened.
69?The test refuses to elaborate.

Yes, question 69 really is only a question mark in the classic list. We kept the bit. You can preview the full 100 Rice Purity Test questions before taking the interactive version.

What does a Rice Purity Test score mean?

A high Rice Purity score means fewer yes answers. A low score means more yes answers. A score of 82 means 18 checked experiences. A score of 34 means 66 checked experiences. The arithmetic is completely transparent.

The context is missing on purpose. One point might represent a date. Another might represent a felony. Both move the number by one. That makes the Rice Purity Test excellent group-chat evidence and a terrible autobiography.

RICE PURITY TEST FAQ

The questions after the questions

How many questions are on the Rice Purity Test?

The classic Rice Purity Test has 100 yes-or-no questions. Every yes answer subtracts one point from a starting score of 100, so the final score is also the number of questions you did not check.

Is a high Rice Purity Test score good?

A high score means you checked fewer experiences. A low score means you checked more. The test gives each question the same one-point value, so the score tells you quantity without explaining the story behind any answer.

Why is Rice Purity Test question 69 only a question mark?

The classic 100-question list famously leaves item 69 as a single question mark. This version keeps it that way. The test refuses to elaborate, and honestly, the number already did most of the work.

Are my Rice Purity Test answers private?
